Battersea SW11 is a wealthy, modern area situated in the London Borough of Wandsworth, Southwest London.

The district’s name origins from the old village Battersea which was property of St Peter’s Abbey of Westminster. In ancient times most of the area was just meadows, forests and some farmlands.
